COACH PACKAGE and handouts from the 07/28 meeting have been posted under Coach Corner.  Practice schedules are under Fields and Game Schedules will be under the appropriate ages or at Schedules.

  The MKsc Coaching Department has developed an internal Coaching Education system for all MKsc U6 -U10 coaches called Age Specific clinics which are offered at Uihlein Soccer Park, FREE of CHARGE. Continuing Education clinics are presenting the sequence of the MKsc curriculum. Clinics may be defined as the process of acquiring the technical values & insight of the game while developing the attitudes and behaviors which are a prerequisite to learning and enjoying the sport of soccer. It is my privilege to be able to help our coaches increase their level of understanding of the MKsc curriculum. Our “soccer culture” must be adjusted to the new demands placed on coaches in regard to player centered forms of training. The player’s individualperformance becomes the center issue in the process of player development. The WYSA Academy play removes the added pressure of winning games at all cost and re-directs the focus on player development. Participation at the Continuing Education clinics will MAXIMIZE our impact on quality coaching within MKsc. The future of MKsc players depends on our ability to provide a positive learning environment. It is imperative for coaches of all levels to participate in the upcoming Age Specific coaching clinics. The future belongs to coach’s education.
