We would like to welcome all the families and friends of the U-6 Mavericks to our second fun-filled season.  We would like to thank our fan base for supporting us throughout this season and upcoming seasons.  We will be featuring a new photo slideshow throughout the season so parents don't forget to bring a camera and share your photos with us.

Practices are held at Gatewood Park on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00pm.

Please have your child there and ready to practice on time.  Arrive early for extra skills drills or "street-style" scrimmage - the kids love to play!

Parents, your pre-practice and pre-game checklist includes:

• A rested and nourished player, ready to learn, participate, and have fun.
• Bottle with water or sports drink like Gatorade.  Juices and other sugary drinks are discouraged.
• A properly inflated #3 size ball.
• Securely tied cleats (double knotted).  Untied shoes waste valuable practice time and game time.
• Sunscreen or bug spray, if needed, applied at home.
• Please call or email the coach to report any absences.

Extra spectators at practice are welcome!  This is a great way to learn what is happening with the team, see how your child is performing, and pick up drills and skills that your child can practice at home with you, sibling or friends.

Players should bring a beverage or two for during the game.

Shin guards and soccer cleats are required to play.
